Salt Authentic Indian Cuisine, an Indian Cuisine Restaurant opened under a dream project by two passionate Indian chefs, Viz. Vijay and Ajay, to spread the true taste of Indian Cuisine to other corners of Australia.

Chef Vijay, a trained Chef having a diploma in Hotel Management & Catering, from Mumbai India, starting his career right from Commi III up to a leading chef in different Star Hotels in India, has a rich experience of making Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Indian Cuisines.

His mission to bring the taste of Indian Cuisine to other corners of the world brought him to Australia first, where he worked as a Chef for "2 Fat Indian Restaurant" and "Bollywood Restobaar" respectively, After working there for more than 7 Years, he felt a need to open his own Indian Cuisine restaurant where he can serve the delicious tastes of Indian cuisine in a better way, served with his academic & own gained rich experience with star hotels.

Vijay's partner Chef, Ajay shares the same work experience and both have worked together with "Bollywood Restobaar" and "2 Fat Indian" respectively, in Australia.

By cooking the hygienic Indian food with Miraculous Indian spices & putting into it our rich experience and passion for cooking, we want our customer to live & experience the saying of famous Greek physician Hippocrates, "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”, Says Chef Vijay and Ajay, firmly.

Additionally, we offer flexibility to our customers with regards to requesting the amount of spices/ingredients in a particular dish to be added or reduced to make the taste customized to their own taste if they wish to experiment with the traditional taste and enjoy the new taste of the dish so attained.
